  Guided Canoe Trips

Canoeing the Skunk River

INFORMATION:

All outings will start and end at the Oakland Mills Nature Center.

Trips will leave by 9:00 a.m. and travel will be on the Skunk River, Lake Geode, or on Big Cedar Creek, depending on water conditions and at the discretion of the guide.
Minimum 4 canoes per date with a maximum of 6 canoes per date.
Cost is $35 per canoe for a 2 hour tour; $50 per canoe for 4 hours; and $70 per canoe for a 6 hour trip.
$30 per canoe for a 2 hour weekday Lake Geode trip. You provide your own transportation to and from the lake. Minimum of 4 canoes applies.
Canoe experiences on the nature center pond can be made for weekdays/evenings by appointment at a rate of $5/person, minimum 10 people.
Anyone under the age of 18 shall be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
No alcohol or pets allowed.
All participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time the day of the trip to attend a safety orientation .
Pfds will be worn at all times and all outings are rain or shine.
Participants must stay within eyesight of the guide for the duration of the journey.

Fees must be received no later than 10 days prior to your scheduled date to secure your spot.

$35.00 per canoe

FOUR (4) HOUR FLOAT TRIP:
Minimum of four (4) canoes
Maximum of six (6) canoes
$50.00 per canoe

SIX (6) HOUR FLOAT TRIP:
Minimum of four (4) canoes
Maximum of six (6) canoes
